Collections

The Collections view is a management tool that allows you to create, edit and delete collections. Collections are records of ad hoc or recurring debit order collections that include both authenticated DebiCheck and non-authenticated debit orders.

Collections can be generated for mandates automatically or manually, or added ad hoc without mandates. Once created, collections can be pre-approved or manually approved before submission cut-off. Collections can also be unapproved and amended.

This view is accessible by admins, managers and team leads and can be found via the side menu by clicking on the Collections menu link.

Creating collections

Within the Collections view you can create a single collection or multiple collections by uploading a populated Excel template.

Click on the Actions button in the menu bar and select Add. A modal window will appear that requires information regarding the collection. Certain input fields, such as the account number, can be verified in two ways. The user can do a Check Digit Verification (CDV) check which is an offline and free sense check of the account number, i.e. the account number length matches the type of account for the specified bank. Alternatively, the user can fully verify whether an account is correct and active by clicking on the AVSR link. This service is live and pay-as-you-use. Learn more

Once the form has been completed and submitted, the new collection will show in the Draft tab view.
