Amending mandates

Mandates that are registered with BankTech may be amended to update their data. This is usually done after comparison of this data against another data set or when new information becomes available or a new strategy is to be employed. Mandates are identified by their 'mandateidentification' which is simply the unique reference used with BankTech. Mandates can only be amended in 1 way:

PUT: /mandates/bulk/amend

This will replace the mandate record with a new one.

• Rate limit: 1 per second

• Payload size: 1,000 mandates

Amending mandates will likely invalidate collections that have been created for it prior to the amendment. Our automation cleans these up, but manual collections will need to be reviewed.
